Anybody play the Dream World

My PGL Name is the same as my Trick Room and GameFAQs Username, RaikouTGC

I haven't yet. I really should check it out. What's it like? Is it a whole 'nother world online?

Yeah, tried it once actually. It's sort of kiddie in terms of the mini games, but the fact that you can catch pokemon and bring 'em over to your game is badass. Got a Farfetch'd first time :V

I need to get in on this

It's awfully easy to get into, but you need to do some stuff in the actual game before transferring a pokemon to the DW. Read the wiki about it, it should yield useful information :V

Yeah and you can get many Berries and Items not normally available in game there too and can then send them and one of the Pokémon you befriend in the Minigames over to the Game Card through Wi-Fi. The Pokémon almost all have special Abilities not available in the wild, and will have 1 of 3 Special Moves.

Class A Moves are Level Up Moves learned at Higher Levels
Class B Moves are Egg or Earlier Gen Move Tutor Moves
Class C Moves are Dream World Exclusive.

Abilities can be passed on through Breeding the Females, but not with a Ditto) I have a Spreadsheet listing the Island Areas Pokémon Avaible in each Area, and their B & C Moves

Plus many of the new Events are being tied in through the Dream World

That's really weird. I'll have to go look up all the mechanics and stuff

I have been. However, I've had issues connecting these past two days. I'm worried I may have picked up a hacked poke that would have corrupted my game data(apparently this can happen?). In which case I may have to restart with my next white version play through.

My PGL is MushroomSage. Hopefully I'll be around the DW again soon.

Edit: I was able to get back on tonight. Apparently I was resetting my C-Gear by switching between my DSLite and 3DS.

Yes Switching Devices or changing the clock affects your ability to log-in for 24 hours. Choose one DS System and stick with it

I use it. So far, i got an Arceus, Shinx, Ghastly, Sentret, Cacnea, and soon Misdrevious.

The Dream world will be down from the 5th June until the 21st for a MAJOR upgrade

Known Upgrades

• New Look

• Compatibility with Black 2/White 2

• The 24 hour time restriction will be backed off to 20 hours (About frakking time!)

• Being able to see your GTS Trade History

• A new Island Area Known as Cool Hole (containing Ice types is my guess even though many Ice types are available in Sparkling Sea)

And Rumors of a Special Promotion of some sort if you Register a B/W and a B2/W2 to the same account
